Hugh Jackman has disclosed a new skin cancer fear after getting two biopsies, and he is urging others to protect themselves from the sun.

Hugh Jackman has disclosed that, following a recent checkup, he has been undergoing testing to determine whether or not he has skin cancer. The actor, who is best known for his role as Wolverine, has spoken publicly in the past about his battle with skin cancer. In 2013, he had his first skin cancer removed.

The actor, who is 54 years old and starred in “The Greatest Showman,” gave his fans an update on his health by posting a photo to Instagram in which he wore a plaster across his nose.

In the video shared on social media, he disclosed that his physician had observed “small things” on his skin that she believed warranted obtaining a biopsiy to investigate further.

 

The Australian actor said the following in the caption of his post: “You’ve heard me talk about my basal cell carcinomas in the past. If further discussion is required, I will continue to bring them up. Even if only one person remembers to apply sunscreen with a high SPF, I will consider it a success.
